For three decades, Leys CDI has stood as a beacon of hope and transformation in Oxford’s most challenged neighbourhoods. From its grassroots beginnings to its current role as a lifeline for hundreds of juniors, seniors, and families, CDI has always been about one thing: bringing people together to build a better future.
This summer’s vibrant garden party was a joyful testament to that spirit—young and old gathered to celebrate the impact of programmes that have nurtured wellbeing, creativity, and connection across generations. And as we look ahead to the festive season, the upcoming Seniors and Working Partners Christmas Meal promises another moment of warmth, gratitude, and unity.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported CDI throughout the years—volunteers, staff, trustees, funders, and community members. Your belief in our mission has made every step possible. Today, CDI thrives through positive partnership working, with organisations across Oxfordshire collaborating to deepen impact and share resources.

Looking ahead, there’s a renewed sense of excitement and possibility. With potential support from the government’s Pride in Place funding, CDI is poised to scale its life-changing work even further—tackling isolation, poor health, and disadvantage with renewed energy. It’s an open invitation for organisations to continue coming together, strengthening their shared efforts, and continuing to make the Leys proud.
