A project for young women aged between 9-25.

This project started in November 2012, since the start of this initiative the youth project has seen the number of young women using its services rise significantly. It is a project designed by young women  and supported by our members of staff, to meet the young women’s needs and to provide activities that they desire, such as cooking, singing, arts & crafts and video projects. As well as providing these activities we also offer a range of other services such as employment and education services, which can help young women get into further education or work. We also involved with other projects going on in the area such as ‘green space’ and ‘My Place’ as well as having close links with other services such as the children centers & women’s active sport which we can make referrals to and vice versa. We offer continuing support and guidance to young women who use our services and our current young people are always here to offer a welcoming introduction to you.

The project is run alongside the after school and holiday projects and branches from our extensive range of activities provided by the Leys CDI, we are always open to new ideas and welcome every young women’s views and opinions.
